The admission season is almost here. As GGSIPU is getting ready for the admissions, they have announced 10% extra seats in all programs. The announcement will relieve many students stressed about college seats. After the hike, IP University admissions will have more than 40,000 seats for the students in the coming academic year.
Major outcomes
Yesterday, GGSIPU’s Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Mahesh Verma along with his team released the admission brochure for the academic session 2021-22. With the release, a lot of new announcements were also made. It also includes a 10% increase in GGSIPU seats. With this, Dr. Mahesh Verma also announced a lot of things.
Firstly, the University will be functioning in its new campus at Surajmal Vihar. Dwarka campus will also function without any near plans to dismantle it. The new campus will have five new courses including B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, B.Tech in Industrial Internet of Things, and B.Tech in Automation and Robotics.
The university has also announced the launch of the University School of Automation and Robotics (USAR) and the University School of Design and Innovation (USDI). The campuses and the courses will be fully functional in the academic year 2020-21. Dr. Mahesh also said that the campus will be equipped with the latest equipment to help students.
Moreover, Dr. Mahesh said that all the admission procedures for IP University admissions will be online. No one needs to come offline for verification of any sort. The registration for admissions will end on July 15, 2021.

Getting a good college is a major issue for the students in India. While there are some premier institutes in every field, the competition is too high. With the stature that GGSIPU carries in the education sector, an increased number of seats can help students a lot. With this hike, students can relax a bit more in terms of getting college.
