All India Council for Technical Education, AICTE has released a revised calendar for engineering and technical institutes. In keeping with that, the classes for engineering and technical institutes freshers will begin from October, 25 whereas these classes for the present batch would start from October, 1.
This revised calendar has been authorised by the Supreme Court. It has been ready taking into consideration a potential third wave of COVID-19 and the end result dates for various boards, particularly Central Board of Secondary Training, CBSE.

This time, all of the institutions have time until October 20 to fill their seats with freshers. This revised calendar was presented in Supreme Court by Adv Harish Pandey.

Supreme Court, again in 2021 mounted a tutorial calendar for admissions to engineering and technical programs. This schedule is adopted by all institutes and can’t be revised with out the permission of Supreme Court.
Even final year the admissions got delayed to those courses. It was as a result of the first wave of COVID-19 was at its peak and AICTE needed to revise the dates many times.
