UGC Asks Colleges to Use National Academic Depository

The University Grant Commission (UGC) has urged all institutes and universities to implement the National Academic Depository (NAD) to store academic awards like levels, certificates, mark sheets in a digital format. It will assist college students to entry their academic certificates from wherever, anytime, and also will assist in validating their authenticity, secure storage, and straightforward retrieval.

The UGC has requested the institutes and universities to add/hyperlink their establishment’s academic award information with DigiLocker-NAD and advise their college students to register themselves as properly. The HEIs are additionally instructed to create a hyperlink of the NAD URL on their respective websites and arrange a NAD cell for correct implementation.
