The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has invited applications for the Saksham, Pragati, and Swanath Scholarships for the academic year 2024-25.
- Saksham Scholarship: A scheme by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) implemented by AICTE to encourage and support specially-abled students in pursuing technical education at the degree and diploma levels.
- Pragati Scholarship for Girl Students: This scheme aims to support and empower female students pursuing technical education (degree or diploma).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Family Income: The total annual income of the applicant’s family from all sources should not exceed ₹8 lakh during the current financial year. A valid income certificate issued by the respective State/UT government is required.
- Degree-Level Scholarship: Applicants must be enrolled in the first year of a degree-level course or the second year through lateral entry at any AICTE-approved institution.
- Diploma-Level Scholarship: Applicants must be enrolled in the first year of a diploma-level course or the second year through lateral entry at any AICTE-approved institution.
